The Shat Gombuj Masque

The Shat Gambuj Masque is a famous mosque in Bangladesh. It is famous for it's special domes.It is located about three miles west of the present Bagerhat town of Bangladesh. In 17 century the mosque is the symbol of the provincial Mughal style of architecture introduced in Bangladesh. By history we can know that Khan Jahan Ail was made the mosque. The mosque have seven bigger dome. The mosque is built mostly bricks measures 192 feet
from north to south & 130 feet from east to west. There is a museum inside in the mosque area. It is also one of the most beautiful archaeological & historical Mosque i Bangladesh made by red burn mud. At last it can be say that the archaeological beauty of this mosque enchants the tourist till now. Besides this mosque an archaeological museum is there where you can find that times archaeological & historical materials.
