Minar-e-Pakistan

Minar- e-Pakistan is a famous historical palace of  Pakistan.It is a tall minaret in Iqbal park Lahore. Basically it built in honor of the Lahore Resolution. It reflects ablend of Mughal & modern architecture.This tower's base is about 8 meters above the ground.The tower is tall in 62 meters & the total height is about 70 metres above the ground. The base comprises is four platforms.To symbolize the humble beginning of the freedom struggle, first platform is built with uncut stones from Taxila, Second platform is made of hammer dressed stones, whereas third platform is of chiselled stones.These platforms depict the freedom struggle.There are 324 stairs to go to the top, besides the lift. There are many Quranic verses, National Anthem, Speeches of Quaid-e-Azam & Allama Iqbal & the resolution of Pakistan in various languages, Arabic, Urdu, Bengali & English are written on white marbles attached on the base of Minar-e-Pakistan.
